5 questions should be taken into consideration when deciding whether the form of advertisement is beneficial or not.
1. Is the brand or product advertised B2B or B2C?
This helps to decide what sort of advertisement should be used. Consumers are more approachable through social media such as, Instagram, Facebook, etc. While advertising for B2B requires a more personal touch. Such as, email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, etc.
2. What is the age of the target market?

Advertising a product for ages generations requires a more sophisticated form of advertisement. An person aged 40+ is less likely to be active on apps like snapchat.
3. What sort of content can be for the product?
Some products are self-explanatory such as a pen, or diary, etc. While products like a laptop, iPad requires a more descriptive explanation when advertising it. Because of this some product can be advertised on apps like snapchat where you don't have an option to put much description of the product. Descriptive products can be advertised on Facebook snapchat. Where there's an option to explain things clearly.
4. How often will I be showing the content on social media?
Timing of the product really matters. If a product is to be targeted for children than it needs to be advertised in the afternoon as children are likely to be in school early morning and sleep early at night.
5. The form of advertisement is in lined with the chosen product.
Selling suits and other formal dressing on apps like Snapchat will not be much affective as Snapchat is mostly used by teenagers or young adults (age<30) and this age group prefer to dress in a more casual way like wearing blazer on a t shirt than wearing a 3-piece suit.
